Will not stay extended!

I have traveled twice with this product and it has never been blocked. I've fiddled with it a few times since I've been back and any pressure from above (much less than you'd expect from normal airline baggage handling) and it collapses, rendering it useless and exposing the very bats it's against should protect even more damage! I hope this is a one off issue with the product and that the seller will provide a replacement. Funnily enough, the "refund window" expired about 1.5 months after…

solid idea. Made cheap.

We bought two of these backpacks to use with our recently purchased golf holdalls. Our suitcases arrived at the destination with no problems, the drivers were on time and everything was fine. Was very happy with the purchase. Unfortunately, after pulling the clubs out the back of a rented 4Runner, one of those burrs fell out the back of the hatch. He fell maybe 2 or 3 feet and his head came off immediately. My first thought was (shit, I have to buy another one for the return trip). My second…

Great product - highly recommended

Great product. I was getting ready to travel east to west and back and was dying to pack my golf clubs as I was planning to play a few rounds. I suffered from bad racquet rentals so I was happy to use my own (new) racquets. After reading the reviews I decided to buy two Bag Boy BackBones to ensure I had enough protection in my Sun Mountain travel case. The solution worked perfectly, I could see that after installing the BackBones, as they absorb the pressure at the top of the suitcase (compared

BackBone Bag Boy works as advertised!

Despite reading negative reviews about the BackBone, including poor quality, I still ordered the product. I received my BackBone in brand new condition and it turned out to be a solidly built product with quality design and workmanship. However, I was still troubled by reviews that suggested the BackBone didn't survive shipping when properly set up with golf clubs in a golf bag. When I packed my clubs in my golf bag, I covered the irons and fairway metals with club covers and then used bubble…

Essential for every golf bag

If you travel with golf clubs, this is an absolute must. I've traveled probably over 100,000 miles with golf clubs and all sorts of bad things have happened to them. And I've tried all kinds of bags, from soft to hard to military. And I've tried a few golf bags that are actually travel bags in their own right. The problem is that airlines treat your luggage like a rag doll, so there's nothing that can prevent extreme rollovers and bumps. The reason I love this little device is that it's simple.
