I debated this product for a while and switched between it and many others before making my decision. What solved it was my budget; I needed them because using regular hooks is becoming difficult and painful for me, but I'm on a tight budget and needed to find a balance between quality and price. I was concerned that the handles on these hooks wouldn't be too comfortable because they're hard plastic and not rubber or silicone, which is what I really wanted, but they cost more. As it turned out, this wasn't a big problem. They are comfortable enough, won't hurt fingers, and thick enough to avoid hand cramps and finger pain while crocheting. It came in a cute little case and a few extras like stitch markers and yarn needles, a tape measure and a small pair of scissors. Scissors / scissors could be a little better in quality; I've used them a few times and they're already fading and don't want to cut the yarn that easily. Otherwise there are no complaints. Just note that stitch markers and yarn needles are made of plastic and are not overly strong. So if you want something more durable you should know this, but it's good enough for my needs and good for the lesser cost I was looking for.
