This product literally burned my dog's neck! It broke down and shocked her when we didn't even press the button. It's partly my fault, I had to take her collar off when we were away and she was in her kennel. However, we only had to "shock" her once to startle her enough that we just used the beep function to get her to stop her behavior. One night she jumped onto my lap, shaking and bleeding from her neck. I removed the collar from her and she had a 2 inch bleeding burn on her neck. She's recovering now but taught me a great lesson about "shock" or "static" collars. Currently looking for one that just sprays air or citronella and beeps. I think it could have happened with any stun collar, it was just this company. Not hurting the company, just trying to warn others who want to use "shock/static" collars. By the way, this company also offers a citronella spray collar option.
