Basically works as it should. I wish it was a little more convenient to fill - for example I could pour water in it rather than detaching the tank, opening the faucet, filling it upside down and trying to put it back on the base. It's not terrible, it's just kind of stupid. The real flaw in its function has to do with the snorkel - there seems to be some kind of failure mode where water condenses in the snorkel preventing fog. This can usually be corrected by shaking the tube to force the water out. It's not ideal because if, like me, you're aiming for a more or less constant humidity level, you might end up messing around with the snorkel more than you wanted to.
