Review on 🚼 49-Inch Extra Wide Baby Gate with 4-Inch and 12-Inch Extension Kit, 4-Pack Pressure Mount Kit, and 4-Pack Wall Mount Kit by Kelli Grossi

I've spent hours looking at gates that fit our 47.5 inch porch. We have an old light Regalo step with a handle that has buttons you can press to unlock and it automatically locks behind you. This gate model is amazing so I was looking for one that would fit the width of our entryway and ordered this one as the other style didn't fit wide enough. I read many reviews that they fit a certain width and settled on this one based on the reviewers saying it would fit their 47-48 inch gate. It arrived tonight and it doesn't fit! It was too wide for both extensions and too small when I removed the smallest extension and just used the largest. The box even says "SUITABLE FOR 29-51". I even read the description that describes the width limits based on extension combinations and they even cover the 47-48 inch range. So incredibly disappointed. Luckily I've been able to mix and match extensions from other Regalo gates I have and they barely fit. But I don't like this handle either compared to the release buttons. This gate requires you to depress the latch, pull the handle up, then push the handle back and slide the latch back onto the handle to latch it. It's too many steps and unfortunately for me because I have to mix and match these pieces the gate now blocks my heavily used daytime kitchen. This handle would not be a problem for me if it could fit in the originally intended entryway where it could be used 2 times a day. I really like Regalo products but it's annoying.
