Review on Premium Quality 15.75 Inch Stainless Steel Floating Wall Shelf for Restaurants, Bars, Cafes, and Kitchens by Mike Hernandez

Anchors work great in drywall.

Anchors work great in drywall. Make sure you use the correct Phillips bit so it stays tight and strong when drilling. Do not overload the anchor! Also, when attaching the metal bracket, do not overtighten the screws. Leave a small wobbly gap for you to slide the shelf over. If it slides very easily, I recommend tightening the screws a bit. It should take some convincing with a hammer or mallet (be careful with the hammer or you'll call the metal) to really get it firmly against the wall. The emphasis is on "just a LITTLE little persuasion". It should fit in most bags, but it's doubtful it'll fit a jam-packed student backpack to get them ready for a SWAT street march.
