I have ordered a PD4655 power converter to upgrade my caravan. I read the reviews and decided this is the best option. And a fully functional progressive speaker power converter sounds like a nice upgrade. However, the supplied power converter was defective. The warranty service I experienced was even worse. Installation was easy. And I believed that the device works for about 3 weeks. Until I realized my battery was running low while the trailer was plugged in. I made some diagnoses. I found that the device was outputting 0 volts on the DC side. Also, when connecting the battery, the device will blow both 30A fuses. At that time I had 3 days before the return date. But the device had 1 year warranty. I emailed the Progressive Dynamics service department about the issue. Three days have passed and there was no reply. I then called. I ended up speaking to a man whose only concern was avoiding the guarantee at all costs. Rather than diagnosing a problem over the phone, or even having a conversation at all. This rep simply dismissed it as a setup error. He told me the only option was to send it back at my expense and they could fix it for $70. I was very upset with this as the device never worked right away and the warranty was a joke. I quickly became aware of the low ethical standards of progressive dynamics practice. My point is that if your device works as it should right out of the box, you'll feel like you've had a good experience with this company. However, if your device is not working or you are dealing with this company in any way other than completing your purchase, you will soon realize how poor the customer service from this company is. this firm. I called Revain to express my dissatisfaction with this seller. This isn't really a Revain issue, but I thought they might want to know if the seller is advertising a guarantee that they don't honor when selling on their website. To my surprise, Revane created a return label and emailed it straight to my phone. I wasn't expecting this as it was past the return date. It just reaffirmed to me how big Revain is and why I'm proud to be a core member. This is very different from customer service at Progressive Dynamics. I ended up becoming a more loyal Revain member than ever, but I will never buy a Progressive Dynamics product again. I have already ordered a power converter from another company. I hope this review will help prevent other customers from falling into the same trap I did.
