Clear purchase! Don't waste your money on Mitivak! Get Powerbleeder!

I really love this phone. This is by far the best and quickest way to bleed the brakes I've found. I have bought and used all types of pumps and this style is by far my favorite. I've tried the whole pedal pump method and let's be honest. It sucks. Not only that, but it's also a great way to kill the master cylinder! The bar in the MC is only used to go that far, but if you bleed the brakes it can easily go too far. Eventually this causes the internal seals to fail and you end up wondering why your brakes stopped working no matter what you do. I bought "MityVac" 6 months ago. Worst product ever made! It fell apart after a few days and to be honest it never worked that well to begin with. In fact, today it is broken in half. I'll say it's better than bleeding the brakes by pressing the pedal, but not by much. The only other method I really highly recommend for bleeding the brakes is the gravity method. It works great in almost every situation. I can't pinpoint exactly how this works on non-scanner ABS systems, but it works great in just about every normal situation you can think of. The problem, however, is that it takes forever! It's literally 12-24 hours to gravity bleed the brakes. On the plus side, you only have to be there at the beginning and end, but still. The pumping power requires minimal effort and you can bleed the brakes in about 10 minutes. You fill it with liquid. You pressurize and drive through the car by unscrewing each air vent individually. The best part? You don't have to keep an eye on the liquid level. You don't have to add more every few minutes. You don't have to go through the entire tuning process for each wheel. You have pressure on all 4 wheels, so spin whichever one you like. In fact, pressure goes to the master cylinder outlets too! I did more than half the job of bleeding my new master cylinder, but the power bleeding worked fine with it. I simply used the power boost to pump the MC into the car by opening the line for a few seconds before moving on to the wheels. It worked great and I had a perfectly solid pedal after maybe 10 minutes of running. I cannot recommend this product enough! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON MITYVAC! GET A POWER BOOST!
