Extremely poor heater
The only reason I gave this heater a second star is because it seems to read the temperature accurately and does not fry my fish. I use this heater in a pathetic 14 gallon aquarium. It's 68 degrees in my room right now and this heater is struggling to get the tank up to 72 degrees. Also, every time the temp drops more than a degree below the target temp I set, the heater makes an annoying, constant wee until I turn it off or lower the target temp. I also had trouble making connections tight. I strongly recommend that you look elsewhere for an aquarium heater.
