I have a Voswitch programmable panel on my truck. It can be set to either manual ignition on/off or automatic ignition on/off, but does not support both at the same time. I wanted an automatic on-off ignition with the ability to turn it on when the truck is off, so I made this switch to connect to the ignition switch trigger wire on the Voswitch. I put a one-way diode on the switch wire so the switch doesn't power that circuit when the truck is off. I wanted it to only light up when the switch is active, so I connected the red and yellow together. Black goes down, White goes up. The red/yellow goes through another one way diode and then connects to the ignition switch wire to the voswitch. The diode is there to prevent the ignition switch circuit from flashing an LED when the truck is on unless you hook it up to something that can switch back, you don't need diodes. The green wire is a normally closed contact, meaning it supplies power when the switch is in the OFF position. Most people won't need this, it's typically used for advanced settings. I closed mine because I don't need it. The switch works great. The LED is bright and the green matches my Voswitch backlight. And very easy to install. Simply drill a 19mm (3/4") diameter hole, slide it in and tighten the nut to hold it in place. If I need additional switches in the future for things that my Voswitch can't do, I will definitely order these again. .
