I bought 3 sets of these with the crystal clear 11S14 bulbs. I debated a long time trying to justify the cost (more than double) of getting the set with the Nostalgic/Edison type bulbs but I am happy with the results now that I have set them up on a dimmer. I had these set up on a regular electrical switch to turn them on and off and found them to be too bright for my taste ( I did install them in a zig-zag pattern over a 20X14 courtyard so it may have been over kill). I installed a dimmer switch capable to handle the total wattage of the set up and can light them up to lower more pleasing levels giving me the amber glow I was after. The cables are well made and are sturdy. It creates a very festive mood and I highly recommend these.
