I do traditional art almost exclusively and the biggest problem I have with documenting my drawings is that almost all flatbed scanners aren't even big for 9x12 sheets enough, so for many, many years I've trimmed the edges of the paper to fit under a regular scanner platform and worked in a smaller area - not ideal. However, 11 x 14 sheets of paper fit COMFORTABLY in this scanner. This completely changes the way I create artwork and I can finally start working on larger artworks without sacrificing documentation quality in favor of photography. The scan quality is excellent - an 11x17 scan at 1200 dpi (maximum) is about 20000x14000 pixels and you can even set the scan quality for lossless PNG files. Can't believe I didn't have this scanner before, it's essential for traditional artists.
