Not for shape wear under clothes- I looked at this as an alternative to waist trainers that had a million hook closures, that seemed impossible to do myself. This was definitely preferable to those, but I did end up returning it. I wanted to wear this under a dress, but the wrapping made the dress overall tighter. Traditional shape wear like underwear or suit or tank would be better depending on your needs. Also, need to make sure to wrap it tight!
