Took a chance after reading mixed reviews. That didn't impress me. I was between that and Plex for my FXBB and decided I would go this route. For the first time seeing Plex is more than a G with marine-grade speakers. The sound quality is exactly what I expected. Far from Bagger quality, but audible at almost all speeds, even with the face/visor fully down at 80 on the Autobahn. If I only wear a half shell and drive around town, IMHO it's actually too loud. Although I have it in disguise which definitely helps project the sound back into my head. I see just sitting in open bars doesn't work very well. There is no bass in the sound, but that is intentional. For such a tiny soundbar to be audible on a motorcycle, it needs to be heavily tuned in the high/mid range to cancel out wind noise. Even baggers have relatively low bass unless there's a dedicated low-EQ subwoofer or speaker (usually behind the driver). That's how sound works. The bike's sound isn't boomy, you won't hear it, and the bass will be muffled anyway. High quality audio sources are HUGE too. I've had it alongside a Plex system and it's only marginally inferior, making me glad I didn't spend all that money on one (although Plex has a slightly fuller sound). I might try adding 2 amplified marine speakers at some point to boost the sound a bit. Installation was easy, took about 30 minutes. If you can disconnect the battery and lift the tank, you can. It simply connects to the battery and then to an additional cable (I used rear running lights). I routed the wiring under my tank and then through the risers along with the rest of the factory wiring harness. All inclusive. My only gripe was the mounting hardware, and the finish is pretty rough - it easily scratches your bars and the soundbar itself if you're not careful. It's not a problem for me, but some people will whine about it. I have a few scrapes from moving. Bottom line: if you're looking for a decent motorcycle speaker at a reasonable price that can be installed in less than an hour, go for it. It can certainly be around $100 or so cheaper, but there aren't many alternatives - either super expensive custom solutions or cheap junk that looks and sounds terrible.
