The controllers seem to fit and balance in any number of positions, but only one magic position allows them to charge. The problem is that there's no really tactile way to tell how to align them other than through trial and error. So if you're happy to fiddle around for a few minutes to finally get the controller to show up as charged, you've got more patience than me.
