I used this product on my Galaxy 9S Plus to mount my phone on the dashboard. it will be heavy and the magnet can't hold the phone. I think you may need to use this product without a case then you don't want to damage your $1000 phone by permanently attaching part of this product to the phone as shown in the product image. A stronger magnet is required to hold a heavier weight. I would not recommend this product with this current configuration. That's the waist of the money. Do not buy this product if you decide to mount your phone in a wooden case.
