UPDATE 2: I love Vetroo fans value for money so much I bought 3 packs of these. Apparently they only rev up to 1300, but other than that they're about the same. I've put 2 on this heatsink in place of the crescent flow and the temps seem to be even better! During gaming, the CPU temperature stays below 55Β°C at low fan speeds, it's that quiet. UPDATE: I have 2 cheap case fans installed on a Vetroo cooler (Master Sickleflow 120 cooler) and the temps are similar to a single fan setup but I can run these fans. at low speeds to achieve the same or better temperature at a lower noise level. Pros: 5 heatpipes (similar coolers only have 4) GREAT fan performance (decent RGB on them) Reasonable height of 148mm (fits most builds) Comparable to brand name Cons: (but no major issues) Bottom fins became light during shipping bent inward. The slats are a little thin and bend easily with gentle force. Simple solution Can only be mounted vertically on AMD. I have used this mx-4 paste cooler on a Ryzen 5 3600 on an Asus Tufgaming x570 motherboard with two gskill Trident z Neo sticks in dual channel mode furthest from the CPU. It's in a high end cooler (old case over 10 years old) that doesn't have much airflow. It's a cheap chassis with hard drive and optical drive bays on the front. Standard cheap layout of that time. A front suction fan, a side suction fan, a rear suction fan and a top exhaust fan. Best I could do in this case. With a default AMD cooler setup and an XMP profile of everything else in the bios set to Auto, I easily hit 90C on the r20 test with subpar results in the 3300 range. When playing in COD Warzone, temperatures can reach 85C reach. The idle temperature is around 50 degrees Celsius. With this new cooler and the same settings, Cinebench only reached 70 degrees, bringing the results to an average value (around 3500). I started playing with the Ryzen Master and was able to both drop the voltage and overclock to 4.275GHz. Cinebench estimates are around 3800 with a maximum temperature of around 70C. In games with overclocking, the temperature rarely rises above 60 degrees. The idle temperature is around 35C. I like to adjust the fan curves for quiet operation when I'm not gaming, but my Ryzen 3600 doesn't even need to spin it up. It's amazing how well it works for its (discounted) price. Without the discounted price, I would have had a hard time choosing this cooler over other similarly priced coolers. It's easy to install, just like a regular cooler. A long Phillips screwdriver helps with the installation. I used only one fan in a push configuration with this heatsink. Reviewers point out that the second fan doesn't really help, but a better fan does. The Vetroo fan runs loudly at full speed. I almost bought many other coolers besides this one (looked at a lot of Liquid and Fuma 2) but I'm glad I bought this one for my 3600. would do it again
