Great for a white theme build

Update 11/17/20: The fan on my radiator had a small fan issue that caused the light to work intermittently. Contacted support and offered a replacement. They shipped a retail boxed replacement cooler with an addressable RGB fan in place of the original Rainbow fan. The sales packaging now also says that the cooler is equipped with 5V ARGB lighting. Photos have been updated to include the new box. Overall, amazing customer service in both response time and issue resolution, and the company…

Improved over standard AMD cooler, difficult to install

Purchased white version for use on Ryzen 7 3700x on MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI AM4 ATX case Neo Qube ATX (copy Lian Li 011D XL). Compared to the stock AMD cooler: On ultra settings with full RTX for Cyberpunk 2077, I easily reach 80 ° C for the CPU temperature. With the Vetroo V5 I reached around 62°C with the same settings (AMD says 80-90°C is typical for 3700x under stress). Idle temp with Vetroo V5 as of this writing is around 32C, fan speed is 35%. It comes with thermal grease and you…

Best budget cooler with discount/special price

UPDATE 2: I love Vetroo fans value for money so much I bought 3 packs of these. Apparently they only rev up to 1300, but other than that they're about the same. I've put 2 on this heatsink in place of the crescent flow and the temps seem to be even better! During gaming, the CPU temperature stays below 55°C at low fan speeds, it's that quiet. UPDATE: I have 2 cheap case fans installed on a Vetroo cooler (Master Sickleflow 120 cooler) and the temps are similar to a single fan setup but I can run

Pros
  • Easy installation

  • There are more interesting options.

Nice little cooler!

Bought to replace Wraith Stealth on 5600x. Temperatures are around 30 when idling vs. 35 (with Stealth) and under load they reach 55-60 (vs. 70-85 in Stealth). The item is well painted and looks high quality. It matched my white case perfectly. Mounting involved using the existing backplate and adding AMD mounting brackets to the device. Very easy to install. I haven't tried the Intel build but I suppose it would be just as easy. The included fan is ARGB and has a 3-pin 5V connector plus an…

Finally better value for money than the Hyper 212 RGB and Black.

The thing was cheap. I bought mine for $26 after tax and shipping. I've set the fan mode to 'quiet' in my H410 motherboard bios and I can no longer hear the cooler running over my case's fans. My 10400f never went above 50 degrees Celsius with server workloads and usage, even with a silent BIOS. The build appears to be of fairly good quality. The only thing that doesn't look or feel super premium is the fan, which only looks cheap because of the transparent blades for the RGB effect it has (I…

Excellent value for money and quality.

Bought this CPU cooler on sale for $25. I have to say that I was surprised by the performance of this cooler. I have an AMD FX 8350 that I bought in 2012. I've had cases where my PC would shut down and freeze while playing games and have attributed some cases to my CPU overheating. Back then, I didn't want to upgrade my system because I wanted to wait for new AMD processors to come out. I have tried removing my old cooler and applying new thermal paste and have tried several thermal paste as…

Huge waste of time and money

Okay, I'll start at the beginning. I bought it on Revain Prime Day for $20 to upgrade my PC. I replaced my i5-9400f with a brand new i7-10700k so I had to replace the motherboard and processor. Everything was going smoothly until I had to install this CPU cooler. The first thing that struck me is that the box doesn't state that it supports LGA 1200 processors, unlike the listing on Revain. Just a small bug, not a big deal, but the actual guide didn't say anything for LGA 1200 processors like…
