Bought these to hang a tarp I just bought on my back porch. I put the grommets in a new tarp (6 inches apart) and bought them to hang the tarp. I am not happy with the ability of these hooks to hang the tarp. What disappointed me is how short the nails are and how hard they are. to nail in wood. The angle of the nail is necessary, but the nail is very light and very short. Therefore, even with my hands (I wear a size 7 ring) I found it very difficult to hold the nail nailed at right angles and without bending. My wood is not too hard. Nails are too thin. I handled this large pack and knew I had bought too much of what I needed. But I have a 20 foot wide porch and I knew I needed enough hooks to go all the way through. The aluminum of the hook itself is very thin, and perhaps that was a good thing. I was able to tap the hook around the grommet knowing a regular screwdriver would be all I needed. end of the season to unhook the tarpaulin. Next time I will buy rounded hooks like cup hooks to attach my tarp to my porch. N anyway. They were a means to an end and this time they will work. I have experienced. And I will say that every learning experience has its positive side. Thank you for bringing them to market.
