If you are fed up with American brand drywall tools made in China, then NELA is the brand to check out. This tool looks like a solid piece of stainless steel. There is no gap between the handle and the blade to create a weak point or pick up dirt from the drywall. Blade stiffness is on the harsh side, but not overly so. There is a non-slip rubber embossing in the middle of the handle. Made in Germany
