Review on ๐Ÿพ Outward Hound Quick Release Backpack: Premium Saddlebag Style Dog Backpack for Convenient Adventures! by Anne Dominguez

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Poor design - slides to one side.

I bought this in a large size so my 68lb Australian Shepherd can wear it on long walks and hikes. This backpack looks good and appears to be made of decent material. There are strips of reflective fabric, a nice large padded handle on the back and large zipped compartments with divided interiors. These are 2 pieces. One part is a halter that attaches to the dog's chest and under its front paws. The other part is a real backpack that slides over the handle and snaps onto the first part. Binding a squirming 70-pound dog to him is neither easy nor quick, which is the first indicator against him. Also, the back piece is poorly constructed, it only attaches to the harness by a small plastic buckle that sits in the middle of the dog's shoulders. There are 2 velcro straps on the sides of the back of the back that attach to a strap on a leash that runs under your feet presumably to keep the pack centered but even in the tightest position they fit so loosely that they are really useless. - A part of the backpack slides in any direction when the dog moves, even if the compartments are completely empty. This happened both when the dog was off leash and when I tried three different types of leashes. The seat belt part itself is ok, but I didn't order that. i will return it
