Frequently overheats and stops working

Two problems: 1. It gets hot. How hot? Alarmingly hot for a small electronic device. While this is normal for 5/10Gb Base-T devices and modules, I'm pretty sure it causes problem number two: 2. Randomly locked. The lights keep flashing, but it no longer communicates with the host. Depending on the computer, the adapter simply disappears and does not return without restarting or reconnecting. Check out the reviews. See a large number of 1 stars. learn it I thought maybe this product was misunderstood or misused. It's not like this.
