Classic style - and mice don't fit in - at least not yet.

This is a nice spacious and nicely reinforced stainless steel and glass bread bin that I have been using since November 2018. It's taller, wider, and deeper than most bread bins I've ever had. It can be seen that there is a lot of bread in it, which allows you to diversify the daily preparation of sandwiches. The roll-front of frosted, textured glass adds a touch of elegance to even the tacky counter of a less well-appointed home - that tacky factor also underscores the value of a comfortably heavy, wrap-around stainless steel construction that's less likely to rust. However, none of this would have impressed me so much if it hadn't also been completely protected from the mouse. The front of the heavy glass roll is very nicely balanced so even drowsy hands can easily reach it, but since it slides down and not up or up (like other bread makers) so no mouse crossing breadsticks today did t . I could move the jar and climb into the box. If mice weren't the unfortunate carriers of Lyme disease and some other nasty infections (google that: many stomach-twisting diseases), I might share them as they're attractive, smart, hardworking, etc., but I don't agree with theirs persistence in assuming they belong to my 170-year-old home or, fortunately, to my Garrison Bakery. apparently delicious soap. Why don't your mice eat all those ivory bars and give me expensive, fragrant natural handmade soap!?!

Pros
  • kitchen and dining room
Cons
  • too dull
