Item arrived as shown, safe and sound, brand new, along with specific starter manufacturer's dyno chart (wish it was in colour, hard to tell which line is which) - Installed in 08 CRV AWD EXL 2.4L and turns very hard and fast. 100% compatible without seals. The flywheel was a little scratched but this starter doesn't mind, after the first two starts it starts the engine in a split second. No more than 100ms to start the engine and the engine is already running in summer weather, and the car can be used with remote start again! all events that may occur from now, August 2017. Considering the price, this item is a must-have spare part above anything else. seemed a millimeter larger and I didn't want to look for an adapter although the thread is suitable don't forget to tighten that nut very tight! and cover well with rubber insulation as it is important for the starter to function properly and prevent breakdowns. I didn't use terminal fat. May 2021. What about Polfett? It won't matter yet. The starter is still there. Maybe it's the battery, but the start now takes a little longer, i.e. a full second start in summer temperatures. In the winter, 2-3 seconds is still great (knock on wood) and I'm sure the new battery will improve those times too. Can't complain, just stress you screw the negative very tight.
