I bought this in April 2020 when I started sewing again because I needed to sew cloth masks. It's the end of November and I've changed blades before and it hasn't made a difference in tissue cutting. This product just isn't sharp enough to cleanly cut through tissue. At first I thought it was me who didn't know how to use the tool properly, or maybe the first blade was too dull. I replaced the blade with one of the extra blades that came with this set - not much of a difference. Several times it was better, and then again it does not cut. The price is definitely lower than big brands but you really get what you pay for.
