Review on Purely Natural All-Season Quilt Batting: PLANTIONAL Cotton Batting For Quilts, Crafts, And Wearable Arts - 47" X 59" Light Weight by Gary Perry

Revainrating 4 out of 5

This came shrink wrapped. There is no fluff to it at all.

I bought this previously at two yards and it came rolled up and in a box. This time I bought four yards and instead of a nice roll it is flat. I would return it but I need it now. And I can't imagine it would be any different if I got a replacement. I suggest you don't buy more then two yards at a time or you will get flat batting.

Pros
  • Was perfect for my project
Cons
  • May not be as resistant to wear and tear as other materials

I make quilts, wheel chair quilts and this is the worse batting I have ever used. As you see in the picture it collects on the material and I have to keep using a line roller. I do quilts for Veterans, hospice and homeless, and I don''t have time to keep taking off all the residue. I make about 100 wheelchair quilts a month for each organization and stopping to take off what sticks to the right side of the fabric is not my cup of tea.
