Review on πŸŒ… Lumie Bodyclock Active 250: Wake-Up Light with FM Radio & Extra Audio Options for an Energizing Start to Your Day by Brian Foster

spare bulb!

I originally wanted to buy the wake up light recommended by The Wirecutter but didn't want to because that recommendation, along with other similar products from other companies, had a limited lifespan due to a lack of replacement bulbs. It was a serious "wtf, seriously?" scam for me and ultimately the main reason I bought the Lumie Bodyclock. Lumie Bodyclock works as advertised. It's highly customizable in terms of sunrise times, alarm or no alarm, birdsong or radio, and even a long sunset to lull you to sleep (or to remind you that you don't really have time to read the next chapter/another one to play one). Play Tetris on your phone.) The sunrise feature works well, and I almost always wake up with it instead of my last "time to seriously get up for work" phone alarm clock. first and takes longer than expected for the first two attempts. However, it's not as bad or as annoying as other reviews have pointed out. I had to use the instructions to program it the first two times, but I eventually found it easy to get used to and now I can quickly make a difference on my own. I wouldn't let that put you off a purchase, especially if you're the kind of person who rarely changes alarm times (like me!). The biggest plus is that the bulb can be replaced when it's empty! In order for the purchase to work, it is more cost-effective compared to cheaper but ultimately disposable products.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
