I bought this for PS4 as a cheaper solution to getting a new headset that allowed me to separate game and chat volume. I should have read the description more carefully as chat volume mixing is NOT a feature of this product. This will increase the microphone volume for others, but for you, all you can do is mute your microphone and change the game volume. Surround sound made the game sound tinny (Siege), but then again that might be because I'm using a stereo headset instead of a 5.1 or 7.1 setting. In general this is a good product but more of a niche solution for a small group of users.
