The concept of this shovel is good: you have a place to store the shovel when not in use. Unfortunately, the scoop's material is flimsy and you can feel it flexing as you sift through the litter. Also, the bottom of the shovel should be flat to completely remove all the material from the bottom of the box if needed, but instead it's more like a rake and lets the material through. Due to the uneven ground and thin material, I threw away the shovel and replaced it with a heavier shovel in the cart.
