I was looking for something functional and something to sit on while playing the guitar. All I really have is an office chair, and the armrests make it uncomfortable for me to maneuver without literally sitting on the edge of the chair. I've had my eye on the stool in my doctor's office for a long time and thought it would make a training chair. I can adjust the height, shorten the bottom so I can reach the guitar pedals more easily. It's perfect, nothing special, just right. I am very happy.
