Around the age of 50 I developed some kind of skin allergy which has gotten worse over the last 5 years. There is always a rash around my waist and that area. I train every day and sweat a lot. After seeing a dermatologist once a year, getting cortisone shots, and using a cortisone ointment if a rash appears. About 6 weeks ago I typed in "waist rash" online and it said I was allergic to latex or rubber. I bought 4 pairs of these underwear and the rash was almost completely gone in 3 weeks.
