Review on Transform Your Mac Laptop: OWC Data Doubler - Optical to SATA HD Converter Bracket Solution (OWCDDAMBS0GB) by Jasmine Rogers

Built with OWC quality at a reasonable price but installed three months ago with Seagate FireCuda 2TB Solid State Hybrid Drive 2.5" SSHD Performance SATA 6GB / (Compatible with my MacBook Pro Intel Core i7 2.4GHz 15" Widescreen A1286 Late 2011) I started getting Finder error code -36 (Finder cannot complete the operation because some data (file or folder) cannot be read or written ). After days of trying to figure out what was causing the Finder error messages in certain folders but not others, I finally decided to pull out a Seagate FireCuda 2TB Performance SSHD Solid State Hybrid Drive and install it in an external USB enclosure , and now I can copy all files to another drive without error messages. It worked fine initially, but was slower with the hard drive installed in the optical drive bay. Maybe a different brand hard drive will work better with the OWC Data Doubler, Optical to SATA HD Converter Bracket, but I'll just skip it for now.
