    Reliable product from OWC! Easy to follow instructions.

    I've been thinking about adding a second hard drive to my MacBook Pro since I installed an SSD. This way you can have a smaller/cheaper SSD for your regular boot drive and a larger HDD for things you don't use that often.     I used this to install an SSD in my mid 2011 13" MacBook Pro. I think most people will do the same as me, so I'll consider this as that feature. OWC Data Doubler includes everything you need for this update, except for the hard drive you want to use.     Perfect for my 15 " MacBook Pro8.2 Early 2011

    I replaced the internal optical drive on my 15" MacBook Pro (MacBookPro8.2 Early 2011) with a cheaper hard drive tray and had nothing but problems. Formatting the drive took 20 minutes.
