This is a very attractive wood backgammon set. It comes in a velour bag for storage. There’s also a velour bag for the dice boxes. Though the boxes are slightly smaller than what I normally use, as are the dice. But this way they fit inside the board, when the board is closed. There are small magnets to keep the board closed. Assuming you keep the pieces / stones stored alongside the end of the board. . . You will want to use caution when opening the board to make sure they do not fall out. You might wish to mark the top/bottom of each side in some way to help with this.All of the edges are very smooth.The pieces are easily sild alongside the board. This is better than the felt boards, where the wedges / points are sewn.This backgammon board is Made in China and being sold by a Chinese company on Walmart.
