I am a crypto miner. Bought these for me and a friend. My friend plugged them in against my advice to power an RTX 3070. He used the wrong settings, my 3070s run at around 120-140 watts with a mining load. Well my friend wasn't listening and was running 230 watts through these cables! Not only did his house NOT burn down, but everything worked fine under this load for about 1 week until I caught him and adjusted his power settings. Previously, when I corrected the overclock settings, I physically felt the cable. At 230 watts, the cables felt warm but not hot and were in good condition under that load. I highly recommended these cables as they exceeded safe and recommended specifications. These cables will work to power an RTX 3070 and below with the correct reduced voltage, but for maximum safety use 8-pin splitters for RTX 3060 and above unless you really know what you're doing. hot over 230W. ***FIRE SAFETY NOTICE*** These 6 pin cables are rated for a maximum output of 216W only. And under sustained load, you should only be at 80 percent of that. If you need more power, buy 8-pin splitters from the same company. Anything over 200 W continuous load is a fire hazard. you have been warned
