Initial Thoughts and Updated Review

It's easy to see during the day but not as reflective as I was hoping when I illuminated it 10ft away in my dressing room with the door closed with a 150 lumen flashlight lights out . It's thicker and stiffer than regular 550 rope and doesn't seem to melt as cleanly. It's low on memory so I hope it doesn't get confused easily. I haven't cut the skein into shorter lengths yet, so I won't know for sure until I use it on a hike next week. It goes through the 0.2" hole of Sparik's aluminum rail adjusters (small size) if you cut about 1" of the inner strands and melt the end of the body into a cone (melt and then use the blade of a knife smooth it out). when winding the cable). I don't think it will go through anything with a smaller hole. The thicker size does not affect the regulator's grip, so it works well and you get a positive result with no slippage. I'm not great with knots so can't really influence how it will work in that regard. Overall I think it's ok but I'm hoping to find something better to help my dog avoid the clothesline. Make suspenders tonight - pre-cut to length and tie tension loops. This cable is terrible. It tangles, doesn't melt well enough to prevent fraying of the ends, and is more frustrating to work with than it's worth. In comparison, this is absolutely the worst paracord I've ever worked with. They threw it in the shit box, I hope I never need it. o use. From 3-star initial thoughts to a 1-star review. save your money
