VERY poor quality for hunting and fishing

Defects, holes and weak points throughout the outer braid of this line. I thought I could salvage it since it would be knotted, but as I started tying the knots the inner strands kept coming out of the holes and weak spots. I can't believe how bad the quality is for the price. I'll be right back.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Without machine gun

Worst paracord for hunting and fishing

Bought this line for my Cub Scouts. The quality is terrible! Not only is this paracord too soft, but when I unraveled the cord, it started to unravel and the strings in the paracord started coming out. If that isn't enough because the paracord is really poor quality it took forever to burn the ends to seal the ends. Such a waste of money! DO NOT BUY!

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Just new to hunting and fishing

First of all this is a great price for 100 inch paracord. Second, it's a bit thicker (660 instead of 550) which makes standard paracord a bit more difficult to work with. Buckles and the like for paracord 550. And third, it doesn't melt as easily as other paracord 550s. I find the glow-in-the-dark coating makes it harder to melt. long and not too strong, altogether a novelty.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Frequency

night tent line?

I haven't had a proper chance to test it in the field, but I prefer to use a parachute for my tents. And the worst thing about camping is when some idiot trips over my tent and weakens it or even falls on my tent. That's why I'm trying the glow-in-the-dark option. The glow won't last all night yet, but a few hours for people to see my lines might be enough for them to realize I don't want to wake up at 2am and put up a new tent spike.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Zero

I recommend sticking with sellers that say they were made in.

I ordered quite a few paracords from Revain for our Veterans Center so veterans can make paracord bracelets as a fundraiser. I have to say buyers beware if you are looking for quality mil spec cables ask questions before you buy. This package is not 550 even though it is listed as such and it does not work well for this application. I recommend sticking with sellers who say made in the USA for quality. This was hit or miss with these other sellers.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Can't remember

You get what you pay for.

Bought 2 packs of 100ft Black thinking it was a great deal. I made a base bracelet out of cobra stitch and as I started singeing the ends the nylon finish on the adjacent piece melted. The inner strands retain heat better than the outer ones, which can make it difficult to get a decent finish. Also, the inner strands will curl up into a fluffy mess if not burned right away, and I can bread them with my hands. Definitely not a true 550 cable. It's a decent cable in terms of looks and no internal

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Coordinates with

Not exactly Paracord Planet, but acceptable

It's a 550 and is very reliable when used in any application. The colors are true to nature and I have found the Paracord Planet brand to be always of the highest quality and far superior to all others BUT THIS from SONA Enterprises is almost as good and a little less expensive. I found it to be a bit THICKER than the planetary paracord and therefore a bit more difficult to work with, but it still does the job well. Remember that not only can you use it as is, you can also use the inner threads

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Very expensive

Initial Thoughts and Updated Review

It's easy to see during the day but not as reflective as I was hoping when I illuminated it 10ft away in my dressing room with the door closed with a 150 lumen flashlight lights out . It's thicker and stiffer than regular 550 rope and doesn't seem to melt as cleanly. It's low on memory so I hope it doesn't get confused easily. I haven't cut the skein into shorter lengths yet, so I won't know for sure until I use it on a hike next week. It goes through the 0.2" hole of Sparik's aluminum rail…

Pros
  • Excellent Overall
Cons
  • Doubtful
