Purchased to keep guppy babies. It was supposed to be with suction cups but there weren't any, but now it will float if partially supported by an artificial plant. The plastic grid separating the top and bottom halves is non-removable so there is no way to remove food etc that falls through it to the floor. The removable lid is difficult to grab when wet, but needs to be removed to allow small bits of food to get on it. Since Mama isn't in the tank, it doesn't need a divider, but I can't remove it. So far not a single child has escaped and they are very small. He protected the young from being eaten, but that's perhaps the only positive thing. After the upgrade, after taking it out of the tank and playing around with it a bit, I found that the baffles can be removed, turning it into a large protected fry box. . Perfect since mom isn't around. I will buy again and recommend to a friend. If there were instructions, this would not be necessary.
