I received this a few days ago to solve a dilemma of how to get the sound from my Yamaha Disklavier Mark IV piano to a Sonos based whole house sound system. It works like a champ! The 100 foot transmission distance is shortened by the walls and structure of the house, so be aware of this fact. However, we were able to set up the receiver in the basement and connect it to the sound system via a cable connected to the receiver. The transmitter is easy to connect to the piano's CPU USB interface. The signal it puts out is nice and clean and in all the time I've been using it it has never lost sync. Since there were no reviews before purchasing, I was a little concerned. No longer. So much so that I ordered another one to have wireless connectivity for Yamaha RemoteLive piano recitals. This eliminates the need to run cables from the laptop to the piano. Good product!
