Mirrors made of very cheap material

I installed them on my 1997 Chevy S10 about a month ago (now 9-9-18). During installation, only 3 screws holding the mirrors broke off. I used my old broken mirrors to save them. Now when I drive they wiggle at the slot, especially on the track. And I really don't want to overtighten and expose them.
