These useful scissors are surprisingly beautiful! They look like 18th or 19th century antiques, but they are new and shiny! They are quite sharp and can be used not only for embroidery, but also for other purposes. I have tried both paper and thick and thin threads. They cut beautifully. And they are so comfortable in the hand, which I did not expect. They fit my hand/fingers perfectly. I have a medium//large female hand and wear a size 7 ring. So pretty. I got these as a gift for my mom as she ALWAYS carries a small pair of scissors with her when she travels. It's like a business card for them. LOL So I thought she could use something really unique and fun like this. She'll use them to fix her hair, mend clothes, open packages, whatever. And although they look very fragile, they are quite strong and durable and can withstand anything.
