So I've always been a bit skeptical about the importance of a DAC in "usually I like music". (i.e. not listening to music with an oscilloscope), the Khadas Tone Board changed its mind. I connected it to JDS Atom. Headphones: AKG K701, Fostex TR-X00 Ebony, HD650. Everything is fine, clear sound, clear bass, clear treble does not tire. The difference (for the better) is clear compared to my NuForce uDAC-3 (do not buy) and my MacBook Pro. not much $$$ better, probably couldn't tell the difference if listening blindly." This one is definitely worth the $100 investment. Also, it can control the volume from macOS, which is cool compared to several other popular DACs.
