Review on IOGEAR 4 Port Triple DisplayPort GCS1964 by Terry Kohl

(This was written by Cathy's son) I'm a software developer and IT administrator. Anyone who has multiple computers for daily work but only one desktop, this device is for you. I use it to switch between my work laptop and my personal desktop. Keyboard, mouse, 3 monitors, webcam and headset went through this device without any problems. I haven't tested the 3.5mm pass-through jacks yet as the speakers connect directly to my desktop motherboard. The universal USB pass-through port on the front works great. I connected a 4 port USB 3 hub to it and it can pass all 4 ports with no problem. There is no bandwidth struggle like some other transit ports I've tried. No technical errors have occurred while using this product. My monitors are two 1080p 60Hz screens and one 1440p 144Hz screen. HOWEVER, this kvm switch cannot run 144zh 1440p. I can only run 120hz 1440p. Little difference unless you're playing extremely competitive FPS games. I see no difference when playing games on a backhaul and when connected directly to my GPU. So far it has switched computers in less than 30 seconds each time. I've read reviews on other sites about this device being slow or something like that, but I usually get 10-15 seconds total time. It's basically nothing for the time I saved using it. I probably change inputs 5-10 times a day or more. I keep my research separate for security reasons.
