Review on 🛁 Danco 28964A Bath Tub and Shower Trim Kit: Eljer and Valley Faucets, 1-Pack (Chrome) - The Ultimate Bathroom Upgrade by Wes Thao

I have an older valley shower so unfortunately I had to install it upside down, my bottom grommets were unthreaded. Eventually they changed the design and moved the screws from top to bottom. The set is of very good quality and works very well. It came with all the gaskets and seals and all the trim details you could ask for. There was a part that wasn't used for my app, I don't know what it was for, but it didn't exist in any form in the original install. I have combined this with a Danco seal kit and a Danco valve cartridge and my shower runs like new. The instructions could be better but the web is full of information, basically you unscrew the socket head cap screw in the handle, take the handle off, unscrew the cap nut, remove it, bushing and cartridge, then pull out the spring. Seals in the valve body. Replacement is done in reverse order, make sure when you put the nut back on, tighten the plastic insert at the top of the nut so everything is nice and tight. I used a flat head screwdriver in one of the two gaps to tighten it.
