This is a great little curling iron set which is Easy to use and controllable heat levels. It is great for young girls because it is lightweight & the temp is controllable so it doesn't get to hot. I have two daughters, 11 & 9 yo, who have recently gotten into doing their hair & makeup. They asked for their own curling irons, blow driers and flat irons. Being just 11 & 9 I didn't quite trust them with really nice (gets really hot) equipment so I looked at lower wattage/travel size units and found this one. At only 1000 watts it will not get super hot so I don't worry about them burning themselves. It comes with a storage bag and heat resistant glove. It is easy to use and the end products are really cute.
