Several people in their reviews of this product mentioned that it shrank after a wash and dry so I bought a size up (XXL). And after the first wash and dry, it was a matter of size up to XL. The material for these pajama pants seems to be much thinner and a bit more brittle than other pajama pants I've bought from Revain, which could explain the shrinkage. The rest of the design looks normal and the design matches the web description.
