Review on MP828 8G BLACK TOUCHSCREEN CAMERA SPEAKER by Narendra Thapa

Old technology but it works

I ordered one of these from Revain's warehouse, the price was about what I was willing to pay for such outdated technology. Everything is fine with the device, it was sealed in the original packaging. The little MP3 player does a great job of what I want to use it for. The touch screen is more of a resistive touch screen than the capacitive touch screens found in most electronic devices today. Resistive touchscreens have more plastic surface area and work best when you use a plastic-tipped stylus—your fingernail will work in a pinch. I tried putting in a 16GB micro SD card but it didn't work (the player didn't see it) so I ended up replacing it with an 8GB. An 8GB SD card worked, but I had to fiddle with the player first - so it's entirely possible that 16GB could work if I'd just tried longer. With an 8GB player and 8GB SD card, that's more than enough for what I need. Basically, I'm going to use this MP3 player to listen to podcasts that I've been downloading for years. The sound quality of the podcasts I've listened to so far is pretty good and the player does a good job. Keep in mind that I'm not using the headphones that came with the player (which are pretty poor quality), I'm using a pretty good pair of headphones instead. The FM radio works well, I haven't really messed around with the camera or video player. The device comes with some software on the internal memory, a file management program that allows you to transfer and convert file formats. I didn't bother installing the software as I just drag and drop the files I need straight from my computer. I don't really plan on using this for video, but if I do, I have another program that will allow me to convert video files into something that this player can use (the same software I use for my PDA Palm Tungsten E2 ). For me this player works, but I think most people reject the old resistive touchscreen technology as it is not as responsive as the new technology. I am happy with my purchase.
