I was hoping. I wasn't terribly disappointed by the price, but I'm put off. I tested the camera in various ways. I put the camera in the car and drive off with 24/7 recording. Worked fine until I parked the car. Then it started again with a blue flashing light. IC continued to work. It didn't write anything after rebooting and couldn't find a connection. The fact that it worked fine when connected before I left the house and then stopped after restarting tells me it's not an issue with the camera's ability to record offline. This is an issue with Eufy controlling something during startup to wake up the device. It can't be called a security camera if it doesn't work offline! Nest is a building block with no internet or electricity. Why on earth do I need another standalone building block? 2K I compare here with Reolink. For $40 they have POE, higher image quality, remote viewing and more. My God. they work OFFLINE! I expected more but this gives a lot of artifacts. human detection? Oh my God. This thing was fast and cool with human detection. You did well. Schedule? Contains a small human bubble detected. Wow. The two-way speaker isn't terrible. I love the alarm function! Draft? Modern compared to others. Easy. I like it. So why 2 stars? It lacks picture quality, one is missing and the other two are for a stand alone bricked device. They boast about the camera's ability to do AI on board. Cute! But is it a lie? Why does this camera need a connection at least once to work? Most disappointing? It's not a surveillance camera. It's a toy. I bought it for security reasons.
