That's probably normal for a very shallow well, but it couldn't produce water 27 feet deep.
I had high hopes, but the seal on the pump, self-lubricated, wasn't up to the task at 27 feet. Unfortunately, too simple a design will work for a shallow well but will not produce the high vacuum pressures that deeper production would require.
