Works really well if you follow the instructions!
Smaller than the usual size we see in public places but good for personal use as it is lightweight and compact. There are exact measurements, but the instructions say it should be about an inch from the front of the object. I think those who do it in public are not following these directions because I've had readings of 94.4°F, which is below normal. There may be people with a fever, but if taken more than 6 inches from the forehead, the reading will be wrong. The digital display is large and easy to read with a soothing green backlight.
